FBI Arrests Minnesota Man For Possession of Ammunition and Alleged Ties to Neo-Nazi Group

The FBI arrested 40-year-old Andrew David Munsinger this week on charges of illegally possessing ammunition as a convicted felon.

The charges come after a year-long investigation into Munsinger’s alleged involvement with the Aryan Freedom Network (AFN), a neo-Nazi extremist organization.

According to a federal criminal complaint, Munsinger, who went by the name “Thor,” expressed hatred toward Jewish and Black people and suggested interest in conducting violent activity in Minneapolis.

He was recorded attending AFN events, including one called “Aryan Fest” where attendees crafted and burned large wooden swastikas.

The FBI investigation involved paid informants who secretly recorded conversations with Munsinger. In these conversations, Munsinger claimed to own several guns and have the ability to manufacture firearms parts and explosives.

He discussed participating in weapons trainings with AFN and expressed support for “accelerationist” violent attacks meant to accelerate the collapse of society.
