Three Minnesota restaurants are highlighted in OpenTable’s 2024 Top 100 Romantic Restaurants in the United States, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
The list, published in late January, analyzed over 12 million diner reviews and metrics to determine the restaurants that left “diners swooning.”
The three eateries in Minnesota are:
- Baldamar in Roseville
- Murray’s Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge in downtown Minneapolis
- Porterhouse Steak and Seafood in Lakeville

All three are steakhouses, which seemed to be a trend with the overall list.
Wisconsin didn’t make the list, nor did other neighboring states Iowa and South Dakota. However North Dakota’s Harry’s Steakhouse in Grand Forks received a nod.
OpenTable snubbed Minnesota in November when it released its Top 100 Restaurants in America list, leaving the state off the list entirely. Baldamar is once again recognized by the restaurant reservation and review website and app, as it was previously honored on the 2020 Top 100 Restaurants in the U.S. list.
