One injured in shooting on U of M West Bank

Police are investigating after a shooting on the University of Minnesota’s West Bank campus left one person injured.

According to an alert sent out by the U, the shooting was reported at around 2:15 a.m. Saturday near the 19th Avenue Ramp, which is located at Cedar Avenue South and 3rd Street South.

One person sustained non-life threatening injuries in the shooting. Three male suspects also fled the scene, according to the alert. No description of the suspects is available.

The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating the shooting.
