Parts of Minnesota are set for two rounds of accumulating snow over the coming days, with the first system arriving Wednesday potentially bringing up to four inches.
The National Weather Service says that both rounds of snow – the first Wednesday-Thursday and the second early Friday morning – will be centered on the southern third of Minnesota, and could bring between 1-2 inches of snow to affected areas
In its expected snowfall prediction, the NWS says the first round is likely to land heaviest in southwestern Minnesota, with the Marshall area possibly in line for 2-4 inches.
The Twin Cities once again looks to be on the periphery of the system, with anything from 0-1 inch expected at this time.

The snow is expected to start late Wednesday and finished by Thursday morning. The weather service says there is a “signal for a band of heavier snow to develop,” which it says could “enhance snow amounts when the band sets up.”
