ELK RIVER, Minn. (KFGO) – An 8-year-old Elk River boy is dead after a crash in Sherburne County northwest of the Twin Cities. The boy was a passenger in a car driven by a 43-year-old woman that was crossing Highway 169 when it was struck by a northbound SUV.
