Minneapolis police chief emphasizes the necessity for further action to prevent a series of robbery.

MINNEAPOLIS: Minneapolis police altered their protocol in response to a series of violent robberies in the city.

This follows a series of robberies that occurred last weekend within a five-hour period, primarily carried out by juveniles.

The Robbery Pattern Response Protocol will be activated in the event of many robberies happening within a brief timeframe. Chief O’Hara will be informed, and all officers who are currently free will react promptly, while non-urgent calls will be put on hold temporarily.

O’Hara stated that officers will be prominently positioned to detect and apprehend the suspects and to deter and disrupt this series of events.

Police report that the robberies were conducted in a consistent manner, with teenagers in a stolen vehicle approaching individuals and robbing them at gunpoint.

The individual mentioned incidents with minors aiming a firearm at someone’s head, placing a gun in someone’s mouth, and pushing the trigger to make the clicking sound.

Three young individuals were apprehended by the police on Monday following a carjacking near downtown Minneapolis that resulted in a pursuit and collision on the city’s north side. Three adolescent males were apprehended as a consequence. Another stolen vehicle escaped from the police.
