Dog stolen during St. Paul robbery reunited with owner

A dog stolen from a woman during a St. Paul robbery has been found.

According to the St. Paul Police Department, a woman was walking with her French Bulldog/Boston Terrier mix, Clementine, near Westminster and York Avenue just before 4 p.m. on Wednesday when two men then reportedly “pushed her … down and took Clementine.”

In response, SPPD put out a public appeal to find Clementine.

On Friday afternoon, the department announced on Twitter that Clementine had been found safe and returned to its owner.

A police spokesperson told the Star Tribune that Clementine was found on the 500 block of Selby Avenue, about three miles to the southwest of where she was stolen.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
