The Minneapolis teenager whose sudden death in 2022 shocked and saddened his classmates, school staff and members of his community, may soon have a street named after him. Next week the Minneapolis City Council will consider an application to honor DeShaun Hill Jr. with a commemorative street name. The application for the street name change was filed by council member LaTrisha Vetaw, who represents part of the city’s north side.
