The Minnesota Golden Gophers (2-2, 0-1) will have a tall task going against the 12th-ranked Michigan Wolverines (3-1, 1-0) but it will be even tougher without two key defenders on Saturday morning.
Defensive backs Justin Walley and Darius Green have been listed as out on the Gophers’ availability report, leaving a big hole in Minnesota’s secondary.
Walley has played in three games this season, logging eight total tackles, an interception and a pass defense for the Gophers. Meanwhile, Green filled in for Gophers starter Aidan Gousby against Iowa last week and has seven total tackles on the season including a sack.

While Gousby was not listed on the availability report, the Gophers will likely need all hands on deck to stop Michigan.
The Wolverines only passed for 32 yards in a win over USC last week but their running game racked up 290 yards on the ground led by running back Kalel Mullings, who had 159 yards and two touchdowns against the Trojans.
