Vikings inactives: Jordan Addison to return for showdown against the Packers

The Minnesota Vikings will be mostly at full strength as they head into Sunday’s NFC North showdown with the Green Bay Packers on Sunday afternoon.

Sunday’s game has a relatively clean inactive sheet except for linebacker Ivan Pace Jr., who was ruled out with an ankle injury on Friday afternoon and will also feature the return of wide receiver Jordan Addison.

Addison has had a rocky year on the field for the Vikings after suffering an ankle sprain during a joint practice with the Cleveland Browns. While he made it back for the season opener against the New York Giants, Addison injured the opposite ankle and missed each of the past two games due to the injury.

Addison, who caught three passes for 34 yards in the opener before the injury, should boost the Vikings’ passing game led by a resurgent Sam Darnold. But Minnesota also has good news along the offensive line as Garrett Bradbury (ankle) and Christian Darrisaw (illness) were not listed on Friday’s final injury report.
