Motorcyclist, 19, dies in the hospital days after I-35W crash

A 19-year-old man has died in the hospital days after he crashed his motorcycle on Interstate 35W in Minneapolis.

Kaeden Devon Price, 19, of Blaine, died at Hennepin County Medical Center Tuesday. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified his cause of death as complications from blunt force injuries sustained in the crash.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Price was traveling at a high speed when he sideswiped a Jeep Wrangler before rear-ending a Ford F150 near 36th Street.

Price was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. According to an update on a GoFundMe created to support his family, he was taken off life support on Tuesday.

His heart and other organs will be donated, according to the fundraiser.

“It is comforting to know that Kaeden will be saving the lives of so many,” the GoFundMe reads.

As of Saturday, the fundraiser had reached around $21,800 of its $25,000 goal.

The other two drivers involved in the crash were uninjured.
