The City of Golden Valley will soon host community input sessions as the police department gets ready to update its manual. “It’s always important to have community input, for several reasons,” said Scarlett Gonzalez, a former recruiter with the Golden Valley Police Department and now the city’s community connections specialist. “We really need community input to understand from the community’s perspective what is it that the community wants from the police and the police manual.”
