Apartment fire displaces residents in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS – Minneapolis fire crews put out flames at a three-story apartment building early Monday morning. Engines were dispatched to the 2700 block of Bloomington Ave. S. just after 2:30 a.m. and upon arrival, fire crews discovered flames jumping from the rear window of a first-floor apartment. Firefighters entered the building and evacuated several remaining residents while other crew members forced entry to the unit that was burning.
