Minnesota, the Land of 10,000 Lakes, a couple of joints that claim to be the original Juicy Lucy makers, and all kinds of amazing other burgers to sink your teeth into. My dad is a south Minneapolis kid, and would occasionally make us Juicy Lucys for supper. We loved ’em and just thought dad made up a silly burger invention with a funny name to make us kids laugh.
