Dayton’s Market with over 100 local vendors returns to downtown Minneapolis starting Thursday

As the Dayton’s Market in Minneapolis returns to downtown, first time vendors are gearing up for the big crowds expected over the holiday season.

An expected 150,000 shoppers are set to make their way to the event and an array of holiday handmade gifts and food will be on display for shoppers. Bryant Williams is the founder and creator of Hardcore Peanut Butter Spread which will make it’s debut at this year’s market.

“You know, it brings back some nostalgia,” says Williams. “So like, when you really think about like the Dayton family and kind of what they did for the city, coming back downtown and being able to see the lights, the different events and really just kind of walking around, seeing what every vendor has to showcase, kind of really gives some of that holiday spirit and joy. Peanut butter is a great gift. Pretty much everyone has someone in the family that loves peanut butter.”

The fourth year of the event will feature over 100 local vendors including XoXocolati, a boutique chocolate brand making it’s debut this year as well. Owner Tiffany Calderone says she’s thrilled to have the chance to show off her custom chocolate bonbons.
