NWS ‘watching closely’ for ‘more noteworthy snow’ this week in Twin Cities

A quick hitter of a system could deliver an inch of snow to the southern half Minnesota on Monday, but the more interesting development in the forecast could arrive Thursday and the end result could be more meaningful snowfall.

As the National Weather Service in the Twin Cities said Sunday afternoon, “this system is something we will be watching closely since it could bring us some more noteworthy snow than we’ve seen over the past week or two.”
