Chipotle to open two more restaurants in Minnesota this month

Fresh off of opening new restaurants in Dinkytown and Eden Prairie in November, Chipotle is adding two more Minnesota locations to its portfolio this month.

The burrito giant has confirmed that its third eatery in Maple Grove and first in Monticello will open in December.

The Maple Grove location had been in development talks for over a year, with the new building off Country Road 101 and Country Road 10 opening on Wednesday, and featuring a drive-through “Chipotlane.”

The Monticello location will open later in December at 779 Chelsea Road East. It will also have a Chipotlane. The Monticello location is accepting job applications for its general manager and crew members.

The two new locations will bring the number of Chipotle restaurants in Minnesota to 84.

Like the franchise’s other locations, the restaurant will be open from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
