A Minneapolis man who fatally shot his former lover’s husband has been sentenced to over 33 years in prison this week in Hennepin County.

Orky Xayachack, 38, pled guilty to 2nd-degree intentional murder and prohibited person in possession of a firearm on Dec. 4 for the fatal shooting of Ricardo Pena Martinez in November 2023. He was sentenced to 400 months in prison.
