Corner store on St. Paul’s East Side relaunches will new look, offerings

A longtime St. Paul convenience store is serving the community once again.

Adam’s Market & Deli at the corner of Earl Street and Burns Avenue reopened Thursday following renovations.

The store, which sells household essentials and groceries, will launch a brand-new meat and deli department in 2025, according to an opening announcement.

The owner of Adam’s Food & Fuel, a local gas station, has handed operations of Adam’s Market & Deli over to his sons.

“While this corner store has been leased to various operators over the years, we, the sons of Adam, are excited to take on the responsibility of operating it ourselves,” they wrote in a Facebook post. “After months of renovations, we are proud to reopen this beloved local establishment and serve the community once again.”

The store, which formerly operated as Mounds Park Market, is expected to soon begin serving fresh, cold-cut sandwiches from its new deli.
