Man accused in a drunk-driving crash Monday that killed one person makes court appearance Thursday

A 38-year-old St. Louis Park man accused in a drunk-driving crash that killed one person and seriously injured another in St. Louis Park this past Monday makes his first court appearance in Hennepin County Thursday.

Jeremy Sherman faces felony charges including criminal vehicular homicide after he allegedly struck and killed 51-year-old Manes Thach and seriously injured a 60-year-old man around 6:00 p.m. Monday.

Investigators say the two were in a crosswalk and leaving work when they were hit by Sherman. Thach was set to turn 52-years old on Tuesday, one day after she was killed.

Sherman’s court appearance is set for 1:30 Thursday afternoon.
