Bebe Zito ends food service at Eat Street Crossing

Bebe Zito will no longer be serving food at its counter inside the Eat Street Crossing food hall.

The shop announced on social media that it stopped food service on Dec. 31 but will continue to serve ice cream at the hall in Minneapolis’ Whittier neighborhood.

The shop added that it’s “making some changes” to its nearby Uptown location on 23rd St. at Lyndale Ave. in the first quarter of the year. The makeover will include a “mini kitchen build-out” that will allow it to serve late-night food and offer happy hour specials.

Additionally, it teased that its “little red food truck ” will be in operation again in 2025 with details on its plans forthcoming.

Owners Gabriella Grant-Spangler and Ben Spangler also operated Ouro Pizzaria at Eat Street Crossing, but closed that counter in August . In addition to its Uptown restaurant, Bebe Zito has shops at Malcolm Yards and in Woodbury .
