Police seek driver who may have info about Minneapolis hit-and-run

Minneapolis police are looking to identify a driver they say may have information related to a recent hit-and-run that left one woman critically injured.

The Minneapolis Police Department released a photo of a vehicle of interest in connection with the Jan. 2 hit-and-run crash in northeast Minneapolis. MPD says the driver of the pictured vehicle may have “information relevant to an ongoing investigation” into the crash.

The crash, which occurred near University and Fourth avenues at around 2 a.m., left 26-year-old Michaela Howk with significant injuries , including multiple broken bones and a brain bleed.

A GoFundMe created to support her recovery had reached around $51,000 of its $60,000 goal as of Sunday.
