BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Three snowy owls are drawing crowds of eager birdwatchers to an unusual location: Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. The Arctic raptors have made the airport their temporary home, attracted to the flat, open landscape that resembles their native tundra. While dozens of planes soar overhead, wildlife enthusiasts gather hoping to catch a glimpse of these rare visitors, including Karen Levan who has seen the owls here before.
