What Wisconsin head coach Greg Gard said after Badgers big win over Minnesota

Wisconsin basketball (13-3, 3-2 Big Ten) notched an impressive 80-59 win against the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Friday night at the Kohl Center.

After falling behind 15-5 early, the Badgers quickly stormed back to even the contest. They then dominated the second half, leading by as many as 30 points late in the game’s final moments. Fueled by at least eight points from each of its starting playmakers, Wisconsin mustered 50 points in the second frame to reach the 80-point threshold for the tenth time this season.

Veteran center Steven Crowl continued his stellar play with 18 points, five rebounds and three assists in 26 minutes. In his first career start for Gard’s team, guard Kamari McGee scored a career-best 15 points, snared five rebounds and snatched three steals in the effort…
