Owamni begins serving weekend brunch

MINNEAPOLIS — A James Beard award-winning restaurant in Minneapolis is starting the new year by launching a weekend brunch.

Owamni is an Indigenous restaurant created by The Sioux Chef in 2021 for job creation, using more Indigenous products developed by Native food producers and showcasing North American Indigenous foods and culture.
