Minneapolis police officers quickly sprang to action, successfully thwarting a potential burglary at a local business. According to a social media post by the Minneapolis Police Department, a suspicious vehicle was reported at the Warner Stellian facility on Broadway St. NE. Surveillance footage showed a suspect apparently loitering and trespassing on the property.
Responding officers from the Second Precinct and K9 Unit arrived to find the suspect, who had illegally entered the premises and was found to be in possession of tools that suggested intent to commit burglary. Officers were able to quickly to arrest the individual, taking him into custody before any further criminal activity could take place.
