EAGAN, MN (MinnesotaNow) — A drug deal in an Eagan parking lot ended with two men arrested Monday after police intercepted a suitcase packed with methamphetamine, authorities said.
26-year-old Luis Pablo Lopez-Velazquez and 33-year-old Christian Alejandro Montero-Gutierrez arrived at the 1500 block of Central Park Commons in a Hyundai Elantra, expecting to complete the exchange of illicit drugs for cash.
Instead, they were met by the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crime Enforcement Team, which had been surveilling the transaction.
As soon as the deal took place, deputies and partnering agencies moved in to arrest the suspects, preventing the meth from reaching Minnesota communities…
