St. Paul boy, 14, will not survive gunshot wound to the head

A St. Paul boy will not survive after he sustained a gunshot wound to the head over the weekend.

A GoFundMe has been launched on behalf of the family of Jerron Chapman, 14, who has no brain activity following the incident at a home on the 300 block of Bates Avenue at around 9:25 p.m. Saturday.

“We have a heartbreaking update to share. Jerron has no brain activity, and his loving momma and family have made the incredibly selfless decision to donate his organs, giving the gift of life to others. An honor walk will be held to celebrate his life,” an update on the page reads…
