The department had earlier sought the assistance of the community in finding the 13-year-old girl, lovingly known as “Tord,” who had disappeared on March 23 around 9:00 p.m. from her home on the 5200 block of 34th Ave S.
The search drew considerable attention as the Minneapolis Police Department detailed Sadie as a Native American girl, standing 5’2” tall, weighing 116 lbs, with distinguishing hazel eyes. Last seen, she was wearing a white and brown “Los Angeles” t-shirt, and a black wig, and was possibly carrying a small pink backpack, which, when she went missing before, was wearing in the 46th St E / Hiawatha Ave area.
