New Businesses Are Opening Up All Across Minnesota
We recently found out three new businesses are opening soon inside the Mall of America — The NBA Store, SKIMS, and New Balance — and a new ‘Dirty Pop’ shop opened in Maple Grove. Meanwhile, in Southeast Minnesota , a brand-new breakfast and lunch spot just opened , along with a new tattoo shop in Rochester . Up north, Duluth is welcoming a new deli … just to name a few of the exciting new openings across the state.
Now, we have received word that a popular Japanese retailer, Daiso, is gearing up to open three new locations in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
What is Daiso?
If you’re not familiar with Daiso yet, here’s a quick rundown of its history and what the store is today.
Daiso is a popular Japanese variety store known for having a large selection of affordable household goods, gifts, beauty products, stationery, kitchenware, and more. It kind of gives off Five Below vibes.
Daiso was founded in 1972 in Takamatsu, Japan by Hirotake Yano as a small street vending business and evolved into a “100-yen” shop, equivalent to the dollar stores across the U.S. The company took off quickly in Japan and now has 6,000 stores across the world, with more than 150 locations in the United States.
Where Are the New Daiso Stores Opening in Minnesota?
