Crews fight multi-alarm apartment fire in Roseville

ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Crews from multiple departments are busy Thursday morning, battling a fire at a Roseville apartment complex.

Engines were dispatched to 2855 Rice St. N, and encountered a fire at the Rosedale Estates that was quickly elevated to 2-alarms. Units from a number of neighboring departments, including St. Paul, New Brighton, White Bear Lake, Little Canada, Maplewood, North St. Paul, Saint Anthony, Vadnais Heights and Lake Johanna were called in to help in the firefighting effort.

Roseville Fire Chief David Brosnahan tells KARE 11 the fire started in a second-floor unit and quickly jumped through a ventilation duct to impact the third floor as well. Two units – one on the second floor, and one on the third – were heavily damaged…
