BEAVER CREEK, Minn. — A barn was destroyed near Faribault, a large tree toppled in Eagan, Minnesota, and thousands were without power as strong winds and hail swept through the state Monday.
Officials in Faribault reported the barn and multiple silos being destroyed, as well as a tipped semi as a result of the wind gusts. The National Weather Service also received a report of roof damage to a commercial building. Officials have not received any reports of injuries.
