The City of Minneapolis is gearing up for its annual Bike To Work Day which will fall on Friday, May 16 this year. Minneapolis bike enthusiasts and commuting newbies alike are encouraged to swap out their typical drive for pedals and wheels as part of a broader initiative to cultivate a more eco-friendly transportation culture in the city.
A series of group rides, convened across different neighborhoods, will mark the beginning of the day’s celebration at 7:30 a.m. As noted by the city’s announcement, the communal gathering points include Farview Park, the Great Northern Greenway, 38th Street Station, and Lyndale Farmstead Park.
