The Jackson Street Bridge in St. Paul has been closed between Empire Drive and Acker Street — and it’ll stay closed for repairs for an estimated three months.
According to Ramsey County Public Works, the closure is out of an “abundance of caution” and comes after a routine inspection. The bridge will close to all vehicles, pedestrians and bicycles between Empire Drive and Acker Street. Detour routes will be posted Monday.
The bridge, which spans multiple railroads, carries an estimated 3,500 vehicles a day. …
