Minneapolis Police and Hennepin County Sheriff’s Team Apprehend Five Juveniles After High-Speed Chase and Home Invasion

In a recent display of coordinated law enforcement, Minneapolis police teamed up with the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office to nab five juvenile suspects involved in a carjacking incident. The action took a contorted turn near Lyndale Lane & Bryant Ave, where a high-risk chase ended with a crashed stolen vehicle and a home invasion, as reported by the Minneapolis Police Department’s social media post.

Having spotted a vehicle reported stolen at gunpoint, officers tried to execute a stop. When the attempted a stop, however, the unwitting vehicle sped off, leading deputies on several blocks before its abrupt end as it collided with a light pole.
