In a recent crackdown on human trafficking, the Eden Prairie Police Department (EPPD) spearheaded a sting operation that has resulted in the arrest of 12 men, charged with attempted exploitation of a minor. The sting, which took place on Monday, June 23rd in Eden Prairie, was supported by the 494 Corridor Group, a task force comprised of multiple law enforcement agencies that aim to collectively curb trafficking and exploitation along the Interstate 494 corridor.
The arrested individuals vary in age, from 24 to 46, and hail from various communities within the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metroplex.
