Community members and music fans are rallying around a Twin Cities musician after his ALS diagnosis.
Matt Keil, the former bassist for Canadian band Comeback Kid, was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis last month, with the condition already beginning to impact his day-to-day life.
A GoFundMe has since been created to support Keil, his wife Maddie and their two daughters, Ellie and Zoey. Maddie will take an unpaid leave of absence from work in order to be her husband’s sole caretaker, according to the fundraiser.
