Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News)- Three lives were taken by violent crimes over the Independence Day weekend in Minneapolis.
The first homicide happened Friday morning, the second occurred Friday night and the third happened Sunday afternoon.
Two of the murder victims were killed in shootings and the third died from a stabbing. One arrest has been made in connection with the three killings.

Three Lives Lost in Pair of Shootings and Stabbing Over 4th of July Weekend in Minneapolis
Police say one of two men riding electric scooters was hit by gunfire in the 2100 block of Dupont Ave. North shortly after 2:30 Friday morning. The other rider called 911 after the victim collapsed from being shot.
Authorities say the victim, described as a man in his 20’s, was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and died in the hospital. The deadly shooting remains under investigation…
