Summer road construction is an inevitable part of life in Minnesota. After a long winter full of salt, plows and assaults on asphalt, construction workers have a relatively tiny window to get all of their projects done during the warmer months.

In short, summer is always a time for often-dreaded road construction, but this year, it feels a little worse for drivers. That’s probably because many of the projects are located in the Twin Cities.
