After years of more flexible and hybrid work arrangements, Target has officially called workers with its merchandising team into the company’s Downtown Minneapolis offices three days a week.
The group includes buyers, planners, and the sourcing team, Brian Harper-Tibaldo, director of media relations, tells Bring Me The News.
Around 7,100 employees work out of Target’s downtown hub. However, Harper-Tibaldo says that’s a loose number since many workers move between Target’s Twin Cities offices.
“Team members tell us they see the benefit from the in-person connection and collaboration that’s a part of being in the office,” says Harper-Tibaldo. “At this point, individual leaders are empowered to make decisions for their teams based on company guidance as well as what’s best for the role they play in our business.”…
