Fried chicken restaurant Revival to reopen under new ownership

Six months after its abrupt closure, fried chicken restaurant Revival is coming back — and diners won’t have to wait long to dig in again.

Driving the news: Jester Concepts, the restaurant group behind Parlour and Butcher & The Boar among others, announced Monday it had purchased all of Revival’s intellectual properties, including its name and proprietary recipes.

  • The group will reintroduce the restaurant this week via its food truck, which will be parked in downtown Minneapolis this Wednesday for lunch and stop at two southwest metro breweries this weekend.
  • The team is also “actively scouting” for a brick-and-mortar location, per a release.
