Minneapolis, Minnesota – Dangerously hot and humid conditions are gripping the Twin Cities metro Tuesday, with heat index values climbing as high as 98° and lingering through 8 p.m., raising the risk of heat-related illness across the region.

According to the National Weather Service in Chanhassen, a Heat Advisory remains in effect for Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka, Washington, Scott, Carver, and Dakota counties. Residents in cities like Minneapolis, St. Paul, Blaine, and Hastings are urged to stay indoors, hydrate frequently, and check on vulnerable neighbors.
