This year marks the 50th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, a legendary movie that has essentially never left theaters. (Just take a look at this week’s movie listings in the Twin Cities.)
Three original cast members are celebrating the occasion, bringing the movie to more than 40 cities across the U.S. and Canada, including a just-announced jaunt into the Orpheum Theatre on Oct. 31.
Barry Bostwick (Brad Majors), Nell Campbell (Columbia), and Patricia Quinn (Magenta) will all be part of the festivities. In addition to a Rocky Horror-themed costume contest, the trio will take part in a meet-and-greet and participate in a shadow cast performance in front of the big screen.
Many of the tour dates include just one of the cast members, but Minneapolis’ Halloween evening show will have all three in the theater for the relentlessly interactive screening (as you’d expect from any Rocky Horror screening)…
