The humidity stayed high for most of Saturday in the Twin Cities. Now, it’s dropping from north to south across the state. It will be comfortable enough to open the windows before you go to bed tonight!
If you live up north, you will want to close the windows early Sunday. An Air Quality Alert continues across far northern Minnesota through early Monday morning. The smoke will not push as far south as we previously thought. Anywhere from Hinckley to Brainerd and north will likely have poor air most of Sunday.
Looking ahead to next week, the jet stream will stay across the US-Canadian border. That keeps wave after wave of storms moving across Minnesota and Wisconsin. The first batch of rain likely stays west of the Twin Cities on Monday. Through the middle of the upcoming week, plan on scattered storms almost every afternoon.
