South Minneapolis shop owners are breathing a sigh of relief following a burglary suspect’s arrest, a result attributed to vigilant police work and the watchful eye of surveillance technology. The Minneapolis Police Department relayed the event on social media, where they detailed the sequence of the arrest stemming from a burglary alarm at a local Goodyear Tire shop on Lake Street.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found windows shattered by rocks; however, the building remained unbreached – a puzzle piece that awaited resolution in the digital recollections of the store’s security footage, peering into the crime with electronic indifference, the officers, together with the store owner, scrutinized the video where they spotted an individual exhibiting a wardrobe identical to that of a figure loitering around the neighborhood.

This observation proved critical, as it later enabled officers to identify and apprehend the suspect, who was still attired in the incriminating clothes.
