There are more questions than answers after an 8-year-old boy from Brooklyn Center drowned at a popular beach.
Karmon Conneh is being remembered for his creativity, his family saying, “Karmon had a deep love for art and drawing, always finding joy in creating. He was an incredibly cheerful soul, known for his warm hugs and bright greetings.”
But why he died remains a mystery. Investigators say he was at Baker Park Beach in Maple Plain on a school field trip last Thursday. A teacher discovered him in 3 feet of water and called 911. He was taken to an area hospital, where he died Friday night…
