Minnesota is once again experiencing unhealthy air quality over multiple days, as wildfire smoke is expected to hang around through Saturday afternoon.
Despite an air quality alert issued by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency on Tuesday, the city of Minneapolis plans to move forward with its plans for its first “Big Honking Truck Parade” on Thursday evening.
The parade of fire trucks, semis, snowplows, and other vehicles is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and run through downtown along Nicollet Mall. Other events scheduled to take place from 4 to 8 p.m.
