Amid investigations into MN state fraud, lawmakers look to provide new prevention tools next year

ST. PAUL, Minn. (GRAY) – Minnesota lawmakers may once again look to tackle fraud in Saint Paul next spring.

News broke last month that the acting U.S. Attorney was investigating the state’s Housing Stabilization Services program for fraudulent activity. The state’s Department of Human Services (DHS) announced Friday that it would be terminating the program amid the investigation.
