Faced with a mounting financial crisis, oversight of Hennepin County Medical Center could change as early as next week.
The Hennepin County Board of Commissioners indicated on Tuesday that it would move to pass a resolution dissolving the Hennepin Healthcare System board. The measure would then move oversight and control of HCMC, the state’s largest publicly funded hospital, to the board.
