One of the recent incidents, captured on video by an onlooker, shows just how coordinated and bold the thieves were as they smashed more than 100 cars in a single night.
KSTP reports that over 125 vehicles were broken into earlier this week during the overnight spree, leaving a trail of shattered windows and stolen belongings across multiple Minneapolis neighborhoods.
The footage, taken in northeast Minneapolis, shows the suspects calmly moving from car to car, smashing windows and rummaging for anything of value. In the background, another vehicle slowly follows along, apparently acting as a getaway car, ready to collect the stolen items and speed off at a moment’s notice.
